Marketing has been a passion of mine and despite being an Accountant for 13years in the Humanitarian sector, when the opportunity came for me to switch careers marketing was the obvious choice. I chose to focus on :

1. Digital Marketing : advertising done using digital/online channels such as search engines, blogs, social media, websites email and mobile apps.
2. Affiliate Marketing : the process of earning a commission by promoting other people's (or company's) products
3. Network Marketing : a direct selling method where independent-agents or contractors serve as distributors of goods and services, and are encouraged to build and manage their own sales force by recruiting and training other independent agents.

After defining those terms, I will further shed more light on the methods mentioned above:

Instead of focusing on the broad and ever changing field I picked areas I was passionate about - the joys of living in this millennial age. I focus on but not limited to consultancy and training on:

AFFILIATE MARKETING:

Affiliate marketing has an amazing earning potential, with the right training and support. 

My goal is to train and coach individuals to be successful in the field, especially for our developing country where we are emerging from an era where we were taught that if you applied yourself, invested time and resources in getting a degree you would have a GOOD job. Its not the case anymore!

We need accessible solutions to

                                                           bridging the income gap,
                                               creating alternative sources of income, 
                                             profiting from passion, skill and talent.

Affiliate marketing can do that and has a very low cost to start up and maintain, making it a viable income generating option for almost anyone with the right support and training.

NETWORK MARKETING

In all my years of experience with that field, this business model can make ordinary people live extraordinary lives. The independant agents get to do business for the fraction of the cost of starting their own venture of the same scale and get to live their dreams through it. Agents build their own sales force from networking and are rewarded by the company. Legit companies give security to their agents that other business models cannot because you don't get fired, you decide when you want to stop.

Alot of people have confused this model with pyramid schemes and ponzis at their disadvantage. Pyramid schemes ensure that the people that sign up first benefit whether they work or not by virtue of adding people to the company. A proper, well set and legit network marketing company does not reward you for not working.

It's not about qualification, or whether the boss or someone likes you to get rewarded for good work, the compensation has clear targets and goals and ANYONE with the right system (which is usually given) will succeed and excel using that business model. Just the thought of some of the stories I have heard have been inspiring to say the least.

From being house help, a tomato vendor, a security officer or guard, a miner or single mom with no income to earning substantial income and getting a complete lifestyle change. Success is not left for the elect few, it has become available when ever someone wants.
