Those who personally know me know how much this subject means to me. I take a holistic approach and love coaching with that in mind. I believe in lifestyle modification as opposed to quick targeted fixes. My approach has yielded awesome results for myself and the people I have coached. There is no point in having the designer clothing, shoes and driving luxurious cars when your body is unhealthy, you can be beautiful but very unhealthy. I do not want to get all worked up but I love nutrition coaching for sustainable healthier living using very simple methods.

My story

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidsm when I was single. This is a thyroid condition where you feel tired even if you rest, you can gain without eating because it's hormonal. I had a biopsy done to check that the nodules(lumps) on my thyroid were cancerous and fortunately they weren't. I was treated with steroids to keep me going, I would sleep the whole day and wake up feeling like I had taken a short nap. My Dad came after the procedure to look after me, and he later confessed that the way I slept spooked him so sometimes he would check if I was still breathing.

Anyway fast forward, I got pregnant after a year of marriage and gave birth by emergency c-section to a beautiful boy. My post pregnancy weight was uncomfortable & it took me a while to get back to myself. I had back issues and carpel tunnel syndrome. One year after giving birth I was inspired to get healthy and fit. I started with a cleanse and complemented it with dance aerobics.

I lost close to 17kgs in total over that period and it wasn't really intentional. I realised one morning that only my pre-wedding clothes were fitting. Fortunately the day I started I had taken a pic, it became the control pic to confirm if i had made any changes. After that I had so many people asking me what I had done and after sharing with them they took on the challenge and the great news some actually achieved their fitness and weight goals.
